Hello,

Welcome to my site.  I'm Rick (aka, The Web Wizard) owner, operator, web designer, graphic artist, creative

advertising, marketing and business consultant.

My graphic design experience spans over thirty years beginning with my first official design job when

I was hired by a construction firm to create floor plans, elevations and interior/exterior renderings of

various commercial and residential single & multi-family dwellings.

After graduating from college receiving my degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology, I began

working in the aviation aerospace industry in numerous capacities to include aircraft technician,

supervisor, inspector, and manager for numerous maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities and

aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing and MacDonnell Douglas.   I also provided my skills as a

technical illustrator/writer and have in the past created various technical drawings, design schematics

and illustrations for training manuals, graphics generated and forwarded to the Federal Aviation Administration for approval of aircraft Supplemental Type Certificate issuance, aircraft paint schemes, executive jet, passenger jet and air cargo interior modification drawings and LOPA’s: Layout of Passenger Accommodation, etc.

I once again returned college to complete my degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology where I graduated Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society with a 4.00 GPA in the top 1% of my class.

I received numerous academic achievement awards such as being placed on the Presidents list, Deans List or Honors List all during my enrollment.  I was nominated for and elected as the Vice President of the National Honor Society and placed on the National Deans List (given to only ½ of 1%  of the nations college students, twice awarded).  I was also elected as the Vice President of the Aerospace Society.  As part of my classes, I took graphic arts, technical drawing and technical report writing.

I retired after 24 years of working in the aviation/aerospace industry so that my wife and I could open our own business that offered custom designed and screen printed t-shirts and specialty gifts for the tourist industry.  Our facility ultimately encompassed over 25,000 square feet of retail space, screen printing & sign dept, graphic arts studio and rental space downstairs and a lecture hall, banquet facility and party areas that we rented out upstairs for meetings, seminars and special events.

As part of our services, we provided a variety of graphic design capabilities from screen printing, pad printing, heat press, sublimation dying, wide format printing, vinyl graphics for signs, banners etc., corporate identity packages, logo design, magnetic signs, ad slicks, brochures etc.

I was responsible for all graphic designs and management of the printing departments.  During the five years that we were open, I designed and printed our own product line of over 50 different t-shirts that we sold in our gift shop.  I also designed and printed shirts for various local businesses and sports teams.  Some of our products were featured as set dressing for the movies "Paul " and "Race to Witch Mountain."

I have a very diverse business management and marketing background as well and have during the course of my career created various detailed business plans, business models and concept art projects, advertising & marketing campaigns for myself and others.

Feel free to look around my website so that you can become better acquainted with the design skills and talents that I can provide to you.
